Hi. I am Vernice. I am 32 years old Brooklyn, NY native who now resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. I am very independent and have very high goals set in place for my future. I tend to be quite busy at times however I do try to afford myself the opportunity to have a little fun and just kick back and relax. I am always on the go so I am looking for someone to help slow me down...just a little!! I have been single for some time now and actually being in a relationship that is going nowhere. So, I have to just let it go. I believe it is important to really get to know someone before taking the next important step which could mean whatever you want it to mean. I am quite shy at times. I consider myself to be sophisticated and conservative. I am not into the childish mind games. You know, waiting to see who is going to call first or say "I love you first". A real woman or a real man would never stoop to such level as to not be honest and tell the one they are with how they really feel. That is my biggest problem with dating. If you can't communicate right, I don't want to be involved. If you are dishonest, I don't want you. Life is so much easier when you just be yourself and not the person you are portraying.
